The NDC polluted the water more than us—Annoh Dompreh on Galamsey fight

The Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh Dompreh has accused the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) government for polluting more water bodies in the country than the current ruling party.

In a heated argument in Parliament on September 3, both the majority and minority groups in Parliament played a blame game.

Mr. Frank Annoh Dompreh for instance, in his submission stated that the NDC polluted more rivers in the country than the NPP.

“If we are to look and investigate both sides of the House (NPP and NDC), I can tell you that the NDC polluted the water more than us. So, let’s get matters straight,”

The Member of Parliament for Bodi, Mr. Sampson Ahi on the other blamed the ruling party for the water pollution in the country, and stated that there are shortages of water in Kumasi, some part of Western Region, and also Accra.

He cautioned that if care is not taken it will get to a time parliamentarians will not even get water to bath before coming to work.

” If care is not taken, we may not get water to bath before coming to Parliament tomorrow,’’ he warned.
