Election 2024:Let us be fair in our dealings–President of the National House of Chiefs urges stakeholders

The president of the National House of Chiefs, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, has pleaded with the various stakeholders of the 2024 general elections to be fair in their dealings.

Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II has urged all Ghanaians to be cautious in their activities, especially towards the December 7th general elections.

He added that as the nation heads into a dire and delicate situation, he urges all stakeholders to be fair to one another to ensure that all parties become satisfied regardless of the outcome of the elections.

He was speaking as the chairman at the grand durbar of the Asafotufiami-the firing of musket festival 2024 –at the Presbyterian School park at Bana in Ada on Saturday, August 03, 2024.

“2024 is an election year, and it is my prayer that we play according to the rules and have fair and transparent elections,” he stated.

The theme for the 87th edition of the festival was: Upholding the discipline of our forebears as a tool for the sustainable development and unity of Ada.
